OT: It’s my office. What are you doing here?

PH: Don’t you still have a class to run for... fourteen minutes?
OT: I paired’em off and they’re doing a group discussion exercise thing.
PH: On the second day?
OT: They are, by definition, adults, they can handle it. Besides, you know my methods: I like to start each semester by having students confront what they already think they know about a topic, particularly in any “Intro To” course.

OT: There’s a script babysitting them, if you’re really worried.
PH: Well, don’t make a habit of it. Our in-person classes are a service that they are paying for, after all.
OT: No they aren’t. Not most of’em, anyway.
PH: Someone’s paying for it, and this institution is not going to provide a substandard educational experience in exchange for those millicreds.
